[1] At Achichinchcallan the thrid - [of January one thousand]

seven hundreth and thretty nyne this matrimo[–?–]

partyes following they are to say Duncan Campbell [–?–]

nichallan and Florence Cameron his spouse that is to [ ]

considering that thoe there has not hitherto ane contract of marriage bene
entered into and past betwixt them yet since they always agreed that the
conditions following should be what is proper to be performed to others at
the dissolution of their marriage they now see it necessar for preventing
of any differs that may arryse at their or aither of their deceasses to extend
the same as follows therefore the said Duncan Campbell in [–?–] of h[is]

part binds and oblidges him his aires exirs and sucessors to make payment to the
said Florence Cameron if she survives him yearlie at martmas during her
lyfetyme of the Somme of Four score merkes of Scots money with the Somme of
sixten marks of penalty yearly and [annual?]rent of the said Four Score markes
after the [–?–] of payment during not payment beginning the [–?–]

years payment at the first martmas after his deceasse and [–?–] further
therafter [–?–]alsoe giftes and dispones to the said Florence if she survy[ves]

him the whole sheep and sheep kynd that belongs to them the said tyme of
his deceasse, with one horse, one [–?–], one presse, one feather bed with
power to her then to meddle and Intromett with the said sheep horse
[–?–] bed presse [–?–] in ane use and dispose theron as her owne For
the whereof causes the said Florence Cameron dispones and assignes to the
said Duncan Campbell during their marriage without prejudice of his jus
marite the joynture and lyferent provisions of the halfe of the lands of
Achtrichtan in manner as the same is contained in ane contract of marriage
past betwixt the deceast Angus McDonald of Achtrichtan her first husband
and her with power to the said Duncan Campbell to possesse or sell the said
Lands [–?–] and sue for the said Joynture and make every other use of the
said contract of marriage compelent to hereas attest of the Law Lyke as the
said Florence by these presents takes annexes and Receaves the said four score
markes of yearly Joynture during her lyfetyme and sheep horse presse bed
and [–?–] in full contentation and satisfaction of all Joynture annuity
or other lyferent provision [–?–] of lands half or thrid of moveables
or any other thing whatsomever she her selfe after his decease or her
female children by her decease before him could ask clayme or crave be and throu
the said Duncan Campbell his deceasse any manner of way, which thrid
of movables that would fall to her by his deceasse and all other
movable goods and gear whatsomever that shall pertaine to her
selfe the tyme of her owne deceasse with and under the conditions
underwritten she Gifts Grants and dispones to Patrick Campbell Son
Lawfully procreat betwixt her and the said Duncan Campbell and to the

procreat of his body with power to the said Patrick Campbell

meddle and Intromett with the said thrid of movables

shall then pertain to herselfe use and dispose exept the

same to his owne behoove and to do everything therwith she could do
herselfe if she were the Intromissalzie which she [–?–] got her to
warrand from her owne fact and deed done or to be done in prejudice
herself provyding alwayes as it is hereby provyded and declaired
if the said Patrick Campbell deceasses and dyes before the said Florence
without Leaving aires procreat of his owne body then it shall
be in her power and Liberty to dispose of what shall be free, and
unexchanged or other wayes not disposed of the said thrid of movables
to be Intrometted with be the said Patrick by the which dispose
that to the daughters procreate betwixt her and the said Duncan
Campbell allanerly and to no other person or persons Consenting to
the regratn hereof in the bookes of Counsell and Session or any others
competent therein to remayne for conservation and constitutes

their prors in witnesse wherof

written be Alexander Stewart writer in Appine they have subscrybed
